“It is so humbling to receive such an award, that is passionate in supporting me and my pursuit as an artist. I am so excited to see where this grant will take my abilities in creating a future career with my photography. I will always be grateful that the William Male Foundation helped me out so greatly with sculpting my future. Thank you!”

As a Freestyle BMX rider for the past 10 years, I have always been influenced by the strong relevance of photography. But it was not until my senior year of high school did I become much more engaged with photography, trying to better my skills and progress at capturing the way I see the world around me.

This past year I have been fortunate enough to have my artwork be featured in multiple school exhibits around the county, as well as earn two first place ribbons at the SD County Fair.  My goals are to continue to broaden my horizons as an artist, through photography, and build a career with this passion, to make a living doing something I love.  I am so grateful that this foundation will have such a big impact on doing so!
