Ryan Severud, aka RYNO, is a Spokane, Washington-born, North County San Diego-raised DIYer who primarily tinkers with photo/videography and music production/sound design, sometimes combining the two into experimental-leaning short films. Like most Millennials, he grew up during the dawn of home video, which allowed him to spend his formative years obsessively seeking out new film experiences and rewatching/reliving old, some of which he may have been a bit young for, but this collectively shaped and influenced all creative pursuits since. He is a regular contributor/collaborator to the North Park Film Fest', a San Diego-based platform for local and global artists to show their short/long-form films/animations. RYNO received funding from the William Male Foundation to help fund his next short film for the 2025 North Park Film Fest'.
