Carla Navarro

Carla is a Chilean-American actress and playwright who is driven by telling impactful stories and thrives on art that encompasses intricate human connections and raw emotions while exploring a variety of topics. Recent local credits on stage are Derecho (La Jolla Playhouse); El Huracán (Cygnet Theatre); Turning Off the Morning News, Drowning Girls, A Bright New Boise (OnStage Playhouse). Local playwright credits: Always Moxie Theatre’s Lamoise New Works Festival (staged reading); Roustabouts Theatre Company’s Celebration of New Playwrights Always (2023) and Orange Tulips (2024) (staged readings); Riot Productions’ Cats Can’t Eat Yarn and Other Plays (production) and OnStage Playhouse’s Monumental History (production).
