Cora Lee was born and raised in San Diego. Her work has been featured in Literary Hub, San Diego Magazine, Hobart, and The Drunken Canal, among other publications. She writes a monthly column for Mail Mag called "Dispatch from Paradise," which serves as an underground guide to America's Finest City—covering everything from a local psychic crime ring to the best hotel pools to sneak into. Cora has received funding from the William Male Foundation to compile the first year of "Dispatch from Paradise" into a book, and to continue exploring and archiving San Diego's eccentricities.
