Eleanor Greer is a visual artist based in San Diego, CA. Her work consists primarily of paintings done in oil and acrylic that express an interest in observing and recording the specifics of daily spaces. Her works are based on forms, textures and spaces pulled from her surrounding environment and composed into new images creating repeated themes of place, local memory, and time. She is a 2018 recipient of an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant and has her MFA from San Diego State University School of Art + Design.
In 2019, the William Male Foundation awarded Eleanor a grant so she could digitize and archive her large body of work.
