I’m a student at Southwestern College (SWC), where I am finishing up my General Education to then transfer into Mesa College’s Multimedia program. To ultimately become a Gameplay Animator.

A former Honors student now consecutively  on the Presidents List due to my 4.0 GPA 

I’m the Vice President of Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) for our student government, Associated Student Organization (ASO); which I am renaming the position to Justice Equity Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Council, which is great for marketing but also because Environmental Justice is an element that’s missing. I joined ASO because I wanted to share my success with all students. I wouldn’t have been able to succeed without SWC adoption of Equity over Equality. Which just makes it fair for all students to be who they're capable of being. I was just awarded Equity Champion of 2022 for my work with our school's CARES Basic Needs program where we raised 6-7 figures for my school & its organizations that help all students. We just won a grant and further funding for student housing for not just my school’s district but for others too. A lot of students have or are facing housing insecurities. This is possibly my greatest achievement by far because I was homeless in the Fall.

I’ve gotten so far by leaving paths of opportunity the more I venture down this career path. It’s time I begin gaining the skills needed to work in the industry of my choosing. I haven’t written a BIO since the MySpace days but to summarize myself in a simple improper saying is that “I am a doer not a sayer”.
