Taylor Kinoshita is a self-taught artist planning to attend California State University, Northridge to major in animation and conceptual design.
"The William Male Foundation pushed me further toward my aspirations, and will always be considered the very first stepping stone towards a career in animation and conceptual design. I am very grateful for being awarded the grant along with the support given by the board of directors. Thank you."
At the age of fifteen, Taylor published cover art for Elder E. Aguilar’s book, Ella “Amor”, consisting of a collection of poems about love. A year later Taylor produced another piece that was displayed in The San Diego Museum of Art.
Though Taylor started out using pencil and paper, she has also taken to ceramic sculpting and digital art.
